Choolate chip cookie recipe for soft (not chewy) cookies?

If you are wanting them soft there is a trick I know. As soon as you take them out of the oven put them in the freezer. When they are cold remove them and take them off of the cookie sheet. Also make sure that you aren't over cooking them. If that still doesn't work try adding more butter or decrease the amount of flour.Choolate chip cookie recipe for soft (not chewy) cookies?

You can use the same recipe you usually use just replace some of the brown sugar with more white sugar. Its the molasses in the brown sugar that makes them chewy. Careful not to over cook them or they will end up crunchy.
